This is the first time I can tell you what I am and what I do. It’s the first time describing my work doesn’t feel like unsuccessfully trying to nail Jell-O to the wall.
Why?
Because I didn’t try to get rich off of marketing.
I assembled a new reality in myself block by block—while also fashioning the blocks by hand.
And that’s what I do.

From Riches to Rags: Vital Lessons Learned
I grew up among some of the wealthiest families in Texas—cringe country clubs, haughty private schools, the full circuit. From those glossy (though hardly benign) beginnings, I predictably became a lawyer and climbed to the top of the U.S. financial system.
Then, to the shock of many, I abruptly walked away.
Dulled by the corporate grind and consumed with a burning desire for more meaningful impact, I chased my dreams to unexpected places—and even caught a few.
It all worked out far better than expected until…
In 2022 I lost everything at exactly the “wrong” place and at precisely the “wrong” time.
My city went up in flames of paramilitary violence and my bank account stalled near zero.
Trapped for years in poverty and a slowly degenerating, unfolding nightmare, I learned the hard lessons a curated life could never teach.
I discovered why those in ivory towers should never craft solutions for people on the ground—exactly the lesson I needed to learn in order to lead The Jade Fire™ as a movement.
